I realized that I haven’t updated my website for a while, but here I am! I’m glad to present you a new piece.

This started out by fucking around in Stable Diffusion. I had a lots of fun last year when it was a shining new toy, but got bored out of it pretty quickly. It’s a nice tool to assist rendering, generate backgrounds or texures. AI animation was trippy and fun but very limited back then. Beyond that, it’s not very interesting from an artist point of view, in my opinion.

Yet, the other day, out of boredom, I decided to use it again. Annoyed by the long render time to generate large pictures, I aborted the process to go back to actual art. But to my surprise it generated interesting results, way more intriguing than the finished images. I decided to paint over it to make it look more appealing to the human eye.

Still, I had fun, and it motivated me to do more.

I kept generating more, until I got something I liked, then integrated it to a sketch I made the day before.

I also made an alternate version that is easier to read, but people seem to prefer the first. Please let me know what you think!
